I respectfully disagree. I retract when I don't want to bid on another player (see my bids on Doug Brocail and Octavio Dotel, where I offered minor-league deals and pulled back said offers when someone else offered more). Maybe there can be limits set on retractions.

Yeah, but it all goes to this year. For instance, if I were to offer Matt Holliday a 6-year, $15M-per-year deal (I'm not, btw), it'd count as $90M out of my $100M. I asked Admin about that on the MLBTR forum because I was thinking the same thing you were.
